What does Bom Bora their Softboard 5’7 Green?
“Our Bom Bora softboard range offers the latest in surf technology, unlike any other surfboard on the market. The EVA rails can be refined and shaped, while the slick reinforced mesh bottom allows momentum and maximum speed when paddling and riding wild waves. Combining these features with a double and triple stringer makes these softboards truly stand out from the crowd.
The Bom Bora softboard is safe and suitable for all skill levels. Due to its construction this softboard can be used between the flags making it an ideal choice for families.”

What do you like about the Bom Bora Surfboard?
12 year old son surfs the board in beginner waves. The board is easy to paddle on to waves, not too big or wide for him to carry himself, but big enough to be able to paddle fast and stay out of trouble. It also looks great, dark green color looks good and the kids like that it’s shaped like a shortboard. Great price as well at $250.
What don’t you like about the Bom Board softboard 5’7?
For my son it really is perfect, I can’t fault it so far.
Experience in the Surf
My kids have ridden this only in small beginner friendly waves. The board is stable, paddles easily on to waves. Kids ride the face of the wave and white wash easily as well.
What kind of waves is the board suited to?
This Bom Bora softboard is suited to small beginner waves but I think a more experienced surfer to definitely have fun in larger surf.
What kind of surfer is this board best for?
Definitely beginners on the smaller side and kids. Stable board, great in small, even tiny waves. I think experienced surfers used to riding short boards would get a kick out of this as an alternative board to their regular.
Does it compare to any other boards (Soft tops or regular) that you have ridden?
It compares in price, for quality vs price it’s hard to beat these boards.
Wrapping it up….
For Bom Bora 5″7 Surfboard, I would give this a 9 out of 10!
What are others saying about Bom Bora Surfboard 5″7
“Its under $300! What more can you say… totally worth it! Stiffer and more responsive that I thought it would be !”
“Got a bombora softboard in a 5’7 for under $200 and its basically the same shape as others selling for $500. The board is so much fun its super corky and paddles like a longboard but the little nugget shape allows for snappy little turns and changes the way you will surf mushy surf. It came with a set of fcs thruster fins which was a huge plus and allowed me to install my set of glass fins in. I would highly recomend this board without a doubt.”
